Live answering
A real person, in your company name
When your line rings and you are already on a job, in a chair, or on another call, Softwave Communications picks up. We greet the caller in your company name, work from the script we built with you, and either take a message, book the appointment, or follow the next step you wrote down. This page is for inbound coverage of your customers and prospects — the people calling you. It is not a lead-generation program, and we do not buy lead lists.
Softwave Communications is in Windsor, CT. Phone (860) 600-9573. No street address is published on this site.
Who it fits
This is a fit for local and regional businesses around Windsor and Hartford that miss inbound calls during the workday: trades, clinics, offices, and similar teams that want a human voice on the line rather than a mailbox. You need a greeting, a script, and a clear rule for what happens after we hang up.
It is not a fit if you need coverage you have not purchased, if you want us to invent hours we did not agree, or if you want us to source or buy leads. Follow-up on lists you already own is a different page: appointment setting and lead follow-up.
What we need from you
Before we answer a single call in your name, we collect the inputs the script depends on:
- How you want the phone answered, including your company name and any required disclosure.
- The questions to ask, the details to capture, and what counts as a qualified enquiry.
- Where bookings go (your calendar or the process you already use).
- Who we reach, and how, when a call is urgent under the rules you set.
- The coverage hours you are buying for your callers, agreed in writing up front.
How a call runs
A call on your number is answered in your name. We follow the script: greet, identify the need, ask the questions you approved, and capture the caller’s details. From there we do one of the things you scripted — take a message, book a time, or pass the call on. New enquiries and existing customers get the same discipline. We do not freelance a pitch, and we do not promise a result your business has not authorized.
If the caller needs something outside the script, we do not guess. We take a message or follow the fallback you wrote.
Coverage for your callers
Hours that your customers reach a Softwave Communications agent on your line are agreed with you up front. We cover the window you buy. We do not treat unpurchased hours as included, and we do not describe this as around-the-clock coverage. If you need a different window later, that is a change to the agreement, not an assumption on the phone.
Those hours are for your callers. They are not the hours we use to reply when you contact Softwave Communications about working together; that note lives on the About page.
Escalation and reporting
Escalation is whatever you script: send a message, book the slot, or follow the hand-off you defined. You decide what is urgent enough to reach you during a call. We do not invent a transfer path on the fly.
You get notes or a summary after conversations, and simple reporting on volume and outcomes. Recordings are used where the agreement and the law allow. We do not publish client results, awards, or headcount on this page.
What this page does not include
- We do not buy lead lists or run outbound campaigns from purchased names. That work, on lists you already own, is appointment setting and lead follow-up.
- We do not cover hours you have not purchased.
- We do not claim a result, a ranking, or a testimonial we cannot stand behind.
Questions we actually get
Will you answer in my company name?
Yes. The greeting and the script are built with you. Callers should hear your business, not a generic call center pitch.
What hours are my callers covered?
The hours we agree in writing before we go live. If you have not purchased a window, we do not cover it.
Can you book into my calendar?
Yes, when that is in the script and you have given us a working calendar or booking path. If booking is not in the script, we take a message instead.
Do you sell me leads?
No. We answer people who already called you. We do not buy lists.
What if I need something you do not offer here?
Say so on the contact form. If it is not a fit, we will say that rather than stretch this page.
